Recycling Information for Manana Residents
Friday, February 05, 2010
Reduce…Reuse…Recycle Dear Forest City Residents,
Prior to the holiday season, we sent you a letter mentioning that the recycling pick up days have been changed for 2010. They are now being picked up every other Thursday. Attached, for your convenience, you will find a 2010 calendar highlighting our pick up dates. Here are the items and recyclables that can only be placed in your “blue” recycling bins: •Aluminum cans. •Rinsed out glass bottles, jars, metal and plastic (discard lids and tops) •Plastic containers numbered one and two (throw away containers that held automotive or other hazardous fluids). •Newspaper (removed glossy inserts) •Cardboard (broken down)
Always make sure recyclables are free of food and liquids. All other trash goes into the green or gray refuse bins. Household trash will not be picked up if placed in your blue recycling bin. Please make sure to have your blue recycling bins on the curb for pick up by the night prior or before 6 AM the same day of pick up. Residents can also contact their resident services office at any time. More information will be available online at www.fcmarineshawaii.com
